# Compi

> Compi ("your travel companion", German tagline: "dein Reisebegleiter") is a travel planner web app that works with ChatGPT and Claude. You plan a trip by chatting with your AI assistant; Compi stores it as a structured itinerary and keeps it at hand while travelling: today view, day-by-day plan, map with drive times, places to stay, lists, shared travel money and a trip check. The itinerary stays readable offline. Compi is available in English, German, Spanish, French and Italian.

## Key facts

- Product: travel planner and travel companion app for holidays, city trips and road trips, for individuals, couples, families and groups of friends.
- Platforms: web app in any modern browser on phone or desktop, with optional home-screen installation. Android app on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.heycompi.app. The iPhone app is not yet available. Web use does not require installing the Android app.
- Planning: with ChatGPT or Claude by connecting Compi, by pasting an existing plan into the app, or by adding entries directly in Compi.
- Status: public beta. The first own trip is a gift with the full companion; further trips can be planned for free as drafts or unlocked with Plus, bought in the web app per trip or per year.
- Data: trip data is held in a database in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Compi uses Cloudflare for fast delivery, including outside the EU; see the privacy policy for details. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies.
- Compi works with ChatGPT and Claude but is not an OpenAI or Anthropic product and is not operated or endorsed by them.

## How Compi works with ChatGPT

1. Connect Compi once in ChatGPT or Claude as an app (sign-in via OAuth). The assistant asks you to sign in to your Compi account and to approve access. Compi is listed in the ChatGPT app directory; availability of new connector tools depends on their approval. Claude connects through a custom remote MCP connector.
2. Describe the trip in the chat, for example dates, route, places to stay and activities, and ask ChatGPT to create it in Compi.
3. ChatGPT sends the plan to Compi. Compi saves it as days, program items, places, stays, drives and lists.
4. Changes also work by chat ("move dinner to 8 pm"). Individual changes can be undone in Compi’s history. Deleting an entire trip requires an explicit request and is permanent.
5. On the road, open Compi in the browser or Android app: it shows what is next today, how to get there and where you sleep. Travel companions can view the trip via a read-only link without an account.

Compi only receives what ChatGPT sends to create, change or read a trip. The chat itself is processed by OpenAI under its own privacy policy.
Your trip data is held in a database in the EU (Frankfurt). Compi uses Cloudflare for fast delivery, including outside the EU. See the privacy policy for details. Compi uses no ad trackers. When you use Compi in ChatGPT, OpenAI settings apply to the chat. On Free, Plus, Go and Pro, OpenAI may use content from apps for training if “Improve the model for everyone” is enabled. You can turn this setting off.

## Pricing (EUR)

- Boarding Group 2: unlimited places. Your first own trip is a gift, including the full companion. Further trips are free drafts or can be unlocked with Plus.
- Free: €0, permanently. Planning with ChatGPT, up to 2 trips as drafts with an overview of all days and stays and the key points of the trip check. The on-the-road companion (today view with navigation, map with drive times, lists, travel money, reminders, offline, sharing, recap) is unlocked with Plus.
- Plus per trip: €7.99 one-time per trip (launch price; later €12.99). Unlocks the full travel companion for one trip; all travel companions included; travel companions can join by invitation with their own accounts.
- Plus yearly: €29.99 per year (launch price; later €39). Every trip unlocked, everything from Plus per trip.
- Launch prices apply from the end of the beta; whoever buys at the launch price keeps it.
- Boarding Group 1: full. The first 5 sign-ups have Compi Plus free forever.
